What we collect, and what we don't do with it.
Flowspect is a small team. This page is the whole policy, not a summary. If something here is ambiguous, email [email protected] and we'll answer plainly.
What we collect
When you join the beta we collect your name, email, the inspection software you currently use, your monthly inspection volume, and a free-text answer about your biggest frustration with your current tool. We use this only to decide who we can support well in cohort 1.
When you become an inspector on the platform, we store the data you put into reports: property addresses, client names, inspection findings, photos, and the report templates you write. This is your data. You can export it at any time, and we'll help you migrate off if it doesn't work out.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't insert tracking pixels into the reports you send to buyers. The public report link contains your branding and your name, not ours.
We don't use third-party analytics on the marketing site. The only outbound calls from this page are to Google Fonts (Source Serif 4 + Inter) and our own API for the beta form.
We use Resend for transactional email (beta replies, password resets, report links to buyers). Resend's privacy practices are at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Hosting
The marketing site and the app frontend are served by Cloudflare Pages. The backend runs on Railway. Database is Neon (Postgres). Photos live in Cloudflare R2.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects how we use existing data, we'll email every active user. We won't bury a notification in the dashboard.
